Schmoozing with the Saudis despite the fact that they despise us as much as the rest of the Arab world does
So Biden is making nice with the Saudis, just like Trump, Obama, and all the previous corporate puppets in the recent past. It doesn't matter that they've supported terrorism, saddled their citizenry with religious fundamentalism, and limited free speech while chopping reporters up into pieces. (Hmm... maybe not all that different than the US government!) What does matter is that the oil keeps flowing and the money keeps rolling in! From an Insider article: "(in the first quarter of 2022) ExxonMobil reported a net profit of $5.5 billion, more than doubling its earnings from the year-ago period. Shell notched its strongest quarterly profit ever, and Chevron posted its best earnings quarter in nearly a decade." Moving money from the middle class to their overlords with amazing speed!
