Rich People Do Have Sympathy For The Rest!

Mary Daly, the head of the San Francisco branch of the Federal Reserve, says that she doesn't feel the pain of inflation anymore because she has enough money. Maybe it's that $422,000 she "earns" in income, maybe it's the thousands that she's brought in through selling of securities (despite trading restrictions placed on her due to her being an "insider"). But she says that she worries about the rest of us and so is trying to lower interest rates. Wonder what the 8,000 homeless folks in San Fran have to say about that? Or the 10% of the population in San Francisco county that live in poverty?
