Another reason why we need a new Constitution
The old one can be interpreted any way the court feels at the time
So the Chief Justice has to defend the legitimacy of the Supreme Court? That's going to happen when the Constitution isn't written to actually promote the common good. Any ol' president can come along and create a SCOTUS that rules in favor of whatever the party wants, usually in favor of Big Business.
It's time to write a Constitution that works for the people.
